On 25 October 2023, the GHC’s International Geneva Global Health Platform co-organised with Medicus Mundi Switzerland and Medicus Mundi International a webinar on the theme: “Decolonising Global Health: from discourse to practice?”

On Thursday 25 May 2023, the GHC’s International Geneva Global Health Platform co-organised with Health Policy Watch, the Clean Air Fund, and the Climate and Clean Air Coalition of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), its fourth and last WHA side event on the theme: “Breathing Life with Clean Air Action: Civil Society Drives Change”.

On Tuesday 23 May 2023, the GHC’s International Geneva Global Health Platform co-organised with the International Commission of Jurists, the Global Health Law Consortium, the Global Initiative for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, and Physicians for Human Rights, its second WHA side event on the theme: “Beyond Panic & Neglect: Building a Human Rights Framework for Public Health Emergency Prevention, Preparedness and Response”.

The GHC's International Geneva Global Health Platform and the United Nations Foundation will co-host their annual briefing on 21 May 2023 to preview the key issues being considered at the 76th World Health Assembly (WHA) and explain WHA modalities for delegates, non-state actors, the media, and general audiences. The event will highlight the World Health Organization (WHO)’s 75th anniversary and its evolving role in global health governance during a time of intensive efforts to reform multilateral cooperation on health. The discussion will also recognise the serious and growing challenges to healthcare delivery in conflict and crisis settings and consider WHO’s current and future approaches to supporting countries to meet these challenges.

On 13 April 2023, the GHC’s International Geneva Global Health Platform co-organised with BRAC James P Grant School of Public Health and Universidad de los Andes a public event on the theme: “Rising Pharmaceutical Innovation in the Global South: Painting with New Colors”.

On 11 October 2023, the Global Health Centre's International Geneva Global Health Platform organised, in partnership with the Geneva Trade Platform and the World Economic Forum, a panel discussion on the theme: "Global Health Challenges: Can investors and civil society work together?"

On 23 June 2023, the GHC’s International Geneva Global Health Platform co-organised with KELIN Kenya a panel discussion on the theme: “UN Human Rights Council Side Event: Digital Innovation, New Technologies and The Right to Health”. The event was held in collaboration with GNP+, Privacy International, STOPAIDS, the Global Governance Centre, and the Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies at University of Warwick and with the support from the Permanent Missions of Brazil and Germany.

On Monday 22 May 2023, the GHC’s International Geneva Global Health Platform co-organised with The Lancet, the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, and the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons, its first WHA side event on the theme: “Synergies in global health and why they matter”.

On 26 April 2023, the GHC’s International Geneva Global Health Platform organised a panel discussion on the theme: “Averting a collision course? Beyond the pandemic instrument and the International Health Regulations (IHR)”.

On 4 December 2023, the GHC’s International Geneva Global Health Platform co-organised with Groupement Romand d’Etudes des Addictions, the Swiss Society of Addiction Medicine (SSAM) and the Institute of Global Health, Faculty of Medicine, University of Geneva (UNIGE) a panel discussion on the theme: “Psychedelics: Medical miracle or illicit drug?”
